by 2017 when Canada celebrates its 150th

projected to be a member of a visible minority. With an
insightful, humorous attitude, Alisa explores how businesses and
organizations have been, and will continue to be, impacted by this
demographic change.
Alisa
has over 20 years' experience in the marketing and advertising
field and currently is President of Quote EndQuote Cross-Cultural
Strategy Inc., a business and marketing
consultancy that provides holistic, cross-cultural advice and
solutions. She has worked in both advertising agency side as
well as in advertising sales with U.S. and Canadian newspapers,
magazines and broadcast. Most recently, she was Account
Manager with Channel M Television, the first free-over-the-air
mainstream broadcaster in Greater Vancouver to feature programming
in over 20 different languages. There Alisa helped organizations
understand and tap into the purchasing power of Canada’s
multicultural markets. With immigration at the forefront of
