We are here to help you access a growing niche market, the 4th largest Visible Minority in Canada (3rd largest Visible Minority in British Columbia),  the Filipino Canadian community. 

The Filipino Canadian Marketing Group helps you strategically market your products and services via traditional and non-traditional marketing methods. We provide a wide range of Advertising Services and accesses to local Filipino events. 

According to Statistics Canada Census 2006, Philippines is a major immigration player, having been placed 3rd in the rank of the 10 leading countries as a source of new immigrant arrivals in Canada from year 2001 - 2006. China ranks first in contributions with 14% (roughly 155,000) and India ranks second with 11% (roughly 121,000) of total new immigrants between this 2001 - 2006. 

77,000 Filipinos, which is 7% of the total number of new immigrants, arrived in Canada from 2001 - 2006. 

Currently, there are 410,695 Filipinos in Canada. Of that, 319,500 are permanent residents, as of 2006.

Of the 77,000 Filipinos, 16,460 immigrated to British Columbia. There are 88,080 Filipinos in British Columbia (both Permanent and Non-Permanent Residents). In Metro Vancouver, there are 78,890 Filipinos. Of that, 62, 960 are permanent residents. 

According to the recently released 2006 Census, 52,000 Filipinos speak their native tongue,Tagalog, at home in British Columbia. 

By 2017, Canada's 150th Birthday, the Filipino community is projected to reach 540,000 in population, topping the half million mark! In British Columbia, the number is expected to grow to roughly 123,000 Filipinos! 

Filipinos are of diverse backgrounds, mirroring the multicultural mosaic of British Columbia itself, with Malay, Chinese, Japanese, South Asian, Spanish, Portuguese, and American heritage in their bloodlines, to name a few.

Canadian English mainstream marketing campaigns are no longer sufficient to effectively reach this large racially and culturally diverse group. In order for you to tap into the dynamic possibilities of this potentially huge market, there is a need to develop a strategic understanding of the Filipino culture, values, and traditions, as well as their predominant lifestyles, consumer patterns and psychological predisposition.
